WELCOME TO EDEN AREA VILLAGE

Eden Area Village is part of a fast growing movement of neighborhood Villages sweeping the nation with the mission of helping our neighbors remain in their homes as they age. A Village is a membership-based, non-profit organization that provides assistance and services, such as rides to the doctor, minor home maintenance, social activities and daily check-in calls, utilizing volunteers, vetted contractors, and a small staff.

Eden Area Village will serve the communities of Hayward, Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, San Leandro and surrounding unincorporated areas.

A single phone call will provide access to the services listed on the Benefits tab.

VOLUNTEER

If you would like to volunteer now, we could use your business, financial, entrepreneurial, artistic, organizational, technical and any other skills you would like to offer to help get the Village up and running. Please see the Committees tab to see what areas we are working on or come to a Saturday meeting and talk with us about your interests.

Once we are open for business, we will be able to match volunteers to requests from members for rides, visits, minor home repairs, etc.
